The authors examined the performance of the subscales of the Refractive Status and Vision Profile (RSVP) questionnaire and found that none of the subscales fulfill all the requirements of the Rasch model. Therefore, investigators should abandon the use of the subscales and use the RSVP as a single questionnaire.
