In a series of 122 myopic eyes treated with the Technolas 217z excimer laser using tissue-saving algorithms and iris recognition and rotational eye tracking, at 6 months, 94% of eyes with a spherical equivalent refraction within 0.05 D of intended and a tissue savings of approximately 5 to 30 µm compared to standard algorithms.
