Progressive ectasia after LASIK occurred despite a low risk score based on the Randleman Ectasia Risk Score System. The tomographic and biomechanical findings on the contralateral non-ectatic eye suggest these tests may enhance the sensitivity for screening ectasia susceptibility among refractive candidates.
