In a retrospective series of eyes with high compound myopic astigmatism, 20 eyes were treated with a phakic toric Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) and 17 eyes with a spherical ICL followed by excimer laser surface ablation for residual astigmatism. The refractive and visual acuity outcomes at 1 year or greater were similar in the two groups.
